Trip planning

How It Works

You know you’re ready to take a vacation but you’re not sure how this works. Whether this is your first time working with a travel advisor or you’ve already experienced the luxury of having someone plan all the details for you, keep scrolling as we walk you through how we get you there.

  • Planning the trip of your dreams requires getting to know a bit about you. We’ll start with a 30-minute introductory call where I’ll ask you a few questions to learn about your travel style and preferences, explain how it all works and answer any questions you may have. (I’ll send you a short questionnaire prior to this call to capture some of your travel details.) Once we decide we’re a good fit for each other, you’ll be invoiced for a planning fee* and I’ll begin the planning process!

*It takes experience, connections, time, creativity and attention to detail to create amazing trips. Vacations are an investment of your hard-earned money and like any investment it’s important that you get it right. In most cases we charge a research & planning fee, which will be based on the complexity/time required to design your trip, so that we can nail it for you.

  • Using the information you provided, my insider knowledge, my experience and the network of my industry partnerships, I will create a few custom-designed itinerary options. I will then work with you to fine-tune the details until we land on an itinerary that’s perfectly matched to you.

  • Once we’ve landed on the perfect itinerary, I will handle the booking of all the components of your vacation. You will be notified of cancellation policies, when deposits are due, etc. I will be here to assist before, during and after your trip.

  • Once your trip is booked, the only thing left for you to do is pack your bags and go! I will take care of monitoring your booking, confirming your hotel stays and transfers and delivering your final travel documents by email. A special travel app will allow you to access your itinerary from anywhere, even offline. You can also expect a helpful “What to Pack” list from me before you head off. During your trip I will be available to help should any issues come up.
